Heat wave

With the heat wave across the United States and Europe, it seems very appropriate to write about weather and temperatures.  I found this graphic with an article about the urban heat island of Atlanta.

"On these sweltering hot days of summer in Atlanta the surfaces of roofs and pavement can be as much as fifty to ninety degrees warmer than the air. You can feel the difference when you are out walking in it."
