SUESS

SEUSS? ~ What the deuce? The doctor? you ask.
Yes, the Cat in the Hat, who will take you to task,
and sweet Cindy Lou, who's surely there too,
along with the red fish, the green fish, the blue.
So what can you say then about a Seuss book?
And what could it mean if you do take a look?
'Tis the season for silly, you may speak willy nilly,
So say what you will; do you like this stuff? Really?

TEA

TEA ~ Coffee, tea, or ... juice? It's summer here in the southern part of the United States, and many of us like to cool off with a tall glass of iced tea. If it were winter here, we would still be drinking iced tea. Do you drink tea? Do you have a story about tea, iced or otherwise?

2. Amy (Mediterranean Views) ~ fix yourself a lovely cuppa

This is "otherwise," but I'm hiding it down here at the bottom of this post because of the nasty weather we're having in the South right now. Temperatures in Chattanooga have hit 104F this week and sometimes higher, especially in cars. People are dying from the heat. The problem in the South is the humidity. It'll getcha! Stay cool, people, and drink something cold!

UNDER

UNDER is a very useful word. You can be undercover ... or under the cover. Scuba lessons are now available under the Eiffel Tower. A small dog may run under a fence, while the big dog jumps over it. Do you under-stand why you should not stand under a ladder? How far can you swim under water? Gotta get (what?) under control!

Instructions are in the sidebar to the right ------>

2. CJ (Write with Flair) ~ Underdog
3. Susan (Patchwork Reflections) ~ underwater submarine ride
4. Bonnie and Susan (combining our efforts) ~ under the bridge and under the sun

VIEW ~ Share your view of something with us. Do you have a favorite view? Have you read The View from Saturday by E. L. Konigsburg? Do you have a point of view you are willing to express? Look out your window (at home or in the car or wherever) and tell us what you see ... what view do you have from there? Use the word VISTA, if that works better for you.
